ALERT: Is Opay Gifting Customers 15,000 For Christmas?

So while I was polishing my shoes for a friend’s wedding event last Saturday, a call came in. It was Benjamin, my brother who lives in Rivers State.

He told me that someone sent him a link from Opay. There, it was revealed that Opay was gifting all their customers N15,000 as a Christmas package.

That message sounded suspicious, so what I did was swiftly move into action. I took my phone and chatted with the Opay virtual representative.

The moment I asked if what I was hearing about Opay gifting their customers N15k was true, she quickly denied it. She said that such a message was never from Opay.

Adaora, as she introduced herself, told me that fraudsters are using that means to rob unsuspecting people of their hard-earned money this yuletide.

After hearing from the Opay rep, I called Benjamin and informed him that it was a scam, and such a message was never from Opay.

ALERT: Is Opay Gifting Customers 15,000 For Christmas

Opay is one of the leading online banks in Nigeria. Since its emergence in Nigeria, they have stood out to be one of the best, if not the best, in terms of services and operations.

Just like Adaora said, such a message is a scam and shouldn’t be taken into consideration. Do not allow yourself to be scammed this Christmas season.

A lot of fraudsters are using Opay and other means to dupe people of their money.

What you do now with this information matters a lot. Please share to help others find out the truth about the fake 15k being circulated by fraudsters claiming it’s from Opay.
