In this short story, you will get to know what pushed me into hustling.
How I made money did not start with intrinsic motivation. Things happening around me motivated me to start seeking how to make money.

After graduation
I graduated from school in the year 2017 from the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria.
The joy we got when we got admission into the higher institution was second to none.
It was almost a few months to our graduation and we were ever ready to embrace what we call the “favour market” instead of the well-known “labour market”.
After graduation, we returned home to at least stay with our family and friends we abandoned for four years because of school.
Every day, I woke up and food was already served. It was quite enjoyable not until the darkness that covered my eyes began to gradually disappear. Lol.
In rear discussions, my parents would always ask, “my son, now that you have graduated, what’s next?”
Parental push
My journey of making money online did not start this time but rather, it was at this time, that fending for myself became a necessary evil (inevitable).
My father one particular night called me and asked me, “Chike my son, what are your plans now that you have graduated from the higher institution?”
“Ah ah dad, is to go and look for work na” I responded with smiles on my face.
My father’s countenance posited the opposite of my smiles.
I came to realize that my father was being serious with the question he asked me.
Without further talking, the old man walked into the room and said, “I hope so”.
That was the last statement that got me wondering to this very day.
The next morning, the eating of free food ceased in my father’s house.
My father warned that no one would give me food ever again in the house.
He said that I was old enough to feed myself.
He made mention of some of my mates who didn’t have the opportunity of going to school but are doing great for themselves.
The pressure became so mean when my mother who always tried to defend me became speechless.
I came to realize that I was now a loner in my own father’s house.
Relationship disaster
My journey to start making money online began to build momentum when my girlfriend discarded me for one of my childhood friends.
I was just walking towards her home and shockingly, I met them kissing at their compound.
As if my presence was not enough, they continued with what they were doing.
When I tried to intrude, Anna was ever ready to walk me out of her father’s house.
It was indeed a very bad moment for me. A lady I have this plan of settling down with. She now prefers my childhood friend to me.
Funny enough, Tony was bold enough to tell me, “my friend go and make money”.
I couldn’t stop crying. Honestly, I never cried because I caught my girlfriend and my childhood friend kissing and romancing each other at her place. I was only crying because I failed in my responsibilities as a man.
Well to do friends
Seeing the beautiful houses my friends built encouraged me to start my online money-making business.
Each time I visited them, they kept on calling me names.
Though they didn’t take it seriously. To me, those name-callings were big insults.
Sometimes I decide not to visit them but to avoid them saying that I was avoiding them, I decided to only visit them on a skeletal basis.
The choice to make money online
My desire to make money began to build so rapidly that I didn’t know what to do no longer.
It is no longer news that all my well-to-do friends engaged in one illegal activity or the other to make their wealth.

When my father saw that almost every day I was always on my phone, he tagged me a lazy bone.
My father finally pushed me out of his house as he said that he was not ready to harbour a lazy young man in his own house.
One of my online fraudsters took me in and tried to pressure me into doing the same kind of his own online business.
I never agreed to dance to his tune. This time around, we became two different online businessmen living under the same roof.
He was defrauding people to make his money while I was educating people hoping to be paid at the end of the day.
The street was so hard I must be frank with you.
During the day I am doing one hard labour or the other and at night, I am always with my phone writing blog posts.
Zeal to do more research
My journey of making money online got sustained as I never stopped researching how to be good at blogging.
These researches did pay off as they enabled me to become versatile in almost everything I blogged about.
The moment the cash started coming in little by little, that was the moment the encouragement to make more money began to come in.

Patience and working smart played a great role in my online money-making journey.
I finally made myself and my family proud. Though my father regretted his actions before this time.
The truth is that I never blamed him. At least his actions gave me reasons that made me come to realise that I needed to start making wealth.
