So for a long time, some of my blog friends have never ceased to ask me the best between Ezoic and Adsense.
Alright, in this post, I will be sharing with you my experiences with the two ad networks.
Maybe from my own story, you will conclude which one to apply for and have it running in your blog.
What is Adsense?
Adsense is an ad network owned and managed by Google. It is a platform that places advertisements on your online platform and you get paid for the ad space.

What is Ezoic?
Ezoic is a California-based technology company and Google Publishing Partner that helps website owners optimize websites using Artificial Intelligence.
The site helps site owners to better manage their sites and also optimize them almost free of charge.
Ezoic’s AI helps intelligently test ad positions, increase page speed, SEO, mobile web, and much more.
What is an ad network?
An Advertisement Network, shortened to an Ad network, is a platform responsible for placing advertisements on internet content meant for public consumption. E.g Adsense, Medievine, Adthrive, Propeller ads etc.
For these ad networks to start placing advertisements on online content like blogs, videos, etc, owners of such platforms must first apply to them.
If they reach the required requirements for ads to show in their content, the ad network will approve their channels and ads will start showing.
Ezoic vs Adsense
Many have tried to compare Ezoic to Adsense and they appear to be confused.
Because of this confusion setting in among new site owners on which one to go for, I decided to make this post.
Between these two platforms, one can make a decent income if only he follows and adheres to their constantly changing policies.
Whether you are using Adsense or Ezoic, trust me, you will make it big only if you continue to maintain their policies and also attract more traffic to your site.

Many have also argued that Adsense is best compared to Ezoic.
Also, a good number of Ezoic users will argue that Ezoic is the best.
Well, both sides are right but on my end, I prefer Ezoic to any other platform.

Comparing Ezoic Earnings to Adsense Earnings
Please Note, I am not sharing this post to belittle any platform but rather to share my humble opinion about them. However, I am using Ezoic and Adsense on sirchike.com and nekenwastories.com respectively.
Under this heading, I will compare the two platforms (Ezoic and Adsense) individually from my experience.
Adsense
My blogging journey started in 2019. In that same year, I applied for Adsense and I was approved (though it wasn’t easy).
Unfortunately, I couldn’t renew the domain upon expiration. Later, I was able to buy a new domain and a host in 2020. I applied for Adsense again and was approved.
Since 2019 till date, my blog has made a total of $12.36. Yes, that is the total of what I made in three years using Adsense.
Though, there are blogs that made better than this in three months with the same Adsense lol.
So if you are using Adsense never be discouraged as long as you are putting into practice all that requires your site to boom as it regards traffic.
That is to say, you will need awesome traffic and SEO practices to start making decent income from your blog monetized with Adsense.
Ezoic
So in 2022, I created a new website, sirchike.com. I decided to monetize the site with Ezoic since Ezoic rejected my previous site over numerous policy violations.
After creating this site in May, I started seeking what it could take to have Ezoic approve my site.
After constant trials and errors, I finally had my site approved by Ezoic in August.
At the end of August, I made $0.83. Fast-forward to October, I made $27.
To tell you how happy this made me, I decided to put in all my efforts to ensure I don’t break any rules and also, make the best out of Ezoic.
Can I use ezoic without an Adsense account?
Also, many have feared that since it is too difficult to get approved by Adsense over numerous policies, can they still be approved by Ezoic since they are official partners of Google.
Well, to cut the whole story short, there is nothing to worry about here.
It is not necessary to have an Adsense account before you can apply for Ezoic monetization.
If you don’t have an account with Adsense, you are welcome to create a free account with Ezoic.
Can I use ezoic and Adsense together?
This will bring us to my second experience with monetizing my site with ad networks.
After my earnings skyrocketed in October, I decided to add Adsense to my site to boost the earnings even more (greedy me).
After various attempts and constant rejection by Adsense over policy violations, they finally approved my site after I made some tweaks in my site.
I had Adsense running in this blog for almost a month.
Within this short period, something happened. My earnings in Ezoic began to drop drastically.
My site moved from earning $1 a day to earning $0.2 a day.
This got me worried. Though, at first, I never believed that Adsense was the main factor behind my site’s instant drop in revenue.
I reached out to Ezoic customer care services and they told me not to worry that the earnings will spring up again.
Though I wasn’t comfortable with this response as the more I waited, the more my revenue dropped.
Even on some days, my site rarely makes $0.1.
I decided to remove the Adsense code from my site. Lo and behold, my site within a space of 3 days began to experience once again an increase in revenue.
So to answer this question, yes, you can use both Adsense and Ezoic together in one site but be ready to experience a drastic drop in revenue.
I would advise you stick to one.
How often do Ezoic and Adsense payout? (Adsense Vs Ezoic payment schedule)
According to Adsense; “The AdSense payment cycle is monthly. As long as you’ve completed the steps to get paid, we’ll issue a payment between the 21st and the 26th of the month. During this time, you’ll find a line item appearing on your “Transactions” page indicating that your payment is in progress”.
This by implication means that Google pays you every month and of course, you are paid according to what you earn in a month.
According to Ezoic, “Payments are conducted between the 27th and 31st of each month for the previous month’s revenue. For example, publishers are paid January’s revenue at the end of February.”
That is to say also, for Ezoic, you will be paid at the end of the month but the money you are paid is the money received from your previous month.
Ezoic vs Adsense payment threshold
With Ezoic, you can withdraw as low as $20 and as high as infinity.
Meaning that the minimum threshold is $20 while the maximum is thousands or millions or billions you have in your dashboard.
While with Adsense, the minimum you can withdraw is $100 and the maximum is infinito.
Meaning that whether you have millions in the Adsense dashboard, you are free to withdraw all of them but when it is below $100 you can’t withdraw.
Ezoic vs Adsense: Final verdict
My final verdict on Ezoic vs Adsense is very simple. With Adsense, you can make cool cash but with Ezoic, you can earn 4x what you are earning with Adsense.
So which one would you choose? Of course, I know what you are thinking.
